How is it safer?
You will only be trading with reputable, authorised UK dealers. We check every dealer that signs up with us to ensure they operate with full dealer facilities. All of our dealer members pay a monthly subscription and commit to operating within the CarEnquiry code of conduct.
How will I be contacted?
Dealers will contact you by telephone or email.
Will you give my contact details to other companies?
Absolutely not. If you receive responses by email, a dealer will only see your details if you choose to liaise with them in response to a vehicle or offer they have sent you.
Only registered dealers will gain access to your telephone number.
Once you buy or sell a car and do not wish to receive any more details/offers you can remove your enquiry from the site.
We will never pass on your details to anyone else.
Can I cancel my enquiry?
Yes, you can do this at any time by going into your profile.
What’s the catch?
There isn’t one! You don’t pay a penny; our service is funded by the dealers, who pay a monthly subscription in return for access to our enquiries.
What if I need finance?
Most dealers will offer finance facilities, however you are able to arrange your own finance if you wish to do so.
What if the car I am selling has outstanding finance?
Dealers will normally be happy to settle finance on your behalf once they’ve bought the car from you.
How do I collect/deliver the car I want to buy?
You need to ensure you clarify this with the dealer – many will collect/deliver but make sure you discuss this with them.
How will dealers pay me for my car?
Most dealers will either offer automated bank payment or a cheque.
Can I part-exchange?
Most dealers will offer this and you should discuss this with them.
